soruları şöyle yanıtladı:
Türkiye Buz Hokeyi
Federasyonu’nun kurulu-
şundan (1991) iki yıl son-
ra Buz Hokeyi Ligi’nin
oluştuğunu görüyoruz. Bu
yıl 20. yaşını dolduran li-
gin, ülkemizde buz hokeyi
sporuna olan ilgiyi artır-
dığını ve hedeflenen geli-
şimi gösterdiğini düşünü-
yor musunuz?
“20 yıllık bir federasyon ola-
rak 2006 yılında diğer buz
sporlarından ayrıldık ve tama-
men kendi branşımıza ağırlık
verdik. Bu süreç içerisinde buz
tesislerimizin az olmasına rağ-
men, yeni açılan tesislerinin
bulunduğu illerdeki buz hokeyi
kulüplerinin liglerde göstermiş
oldukları başarı ve mücadeleler
bu spora olan ilginin artığının,
hedeflenen gelişimin gerçek-
leştiğinin göstergesidir.”
Buz Hokeyi ülkemizde
henüz emekleme aşama-
sında olan bir spor ola-
rak kabul görüyor. Buz
Hokeyi Federasyonu ola-
rak yeni sporcular kazan-
mak adına altyapı ve te-
sisleşme hareketlerini ar-
zulanan düzeyin neresin-
de görüyorsunuz?
“Buz hokeyinin tanıtımı ve
yaygınlaşması için gerek kulüp-
lere gerekse diğer kuruluşlara
destek vererek alt yapının ge-
lişmesi için önemli çalışma-
lar yapmaktayız. Tesislerimizin
az olması sebebiyle şu an için
sadece beş ilimizde faaliyet
göstermekteyiz. Buz Hokeyi
Federasyonu olarak 10 ilde
daha buz tesisleri açılması yö-
nünde projelerimiz hazırlan-
makta olup, gerekli çalışmalar
devam etmektedir.”
Şüphesiz bir sporun kal-
kınabilmesi ile izlenirli-
ği adına sponsorluk ve
yayın hakları önemli bir
yer tutuyor. Bu konuda-
ki çalışmalar ve gelişme-
ler nelerdir?
“Buz hokeyinin tanıtımı ve
desteklenmesi yönündeki ça-
lışmalarımız sonucunda son iki
yılda 500 bin TL üzerinde spon-
sorluk geliri elde edilmiştir.
Geçmiş yıllarda sponsorluk ge-
lirlerinin olmadığı da göz önü-
ne alındığında, bu büyük bir ba-
şarının göstergesidir.”
Eklemek istediğiniz bir
şey var mı?
“Son iki yılda sporcu sayımız-
da % 70 oranında artış olmuş,
hem antrenör hem de hakem
sayılarımızda ciddi yükselme-
ler yaşanmıştır. Ayrıca ulusla-
rarası organizasyonlarda Türk
hakemlerimize görevler veril-
meye başlanmıştır. Bunun yanı
sıra, Türk Milli takımızda da gö-
rev yapan bir kadın sporcu-
muz Çek Cumhuriyeti’ndeki
bir kulübe transfer olmuş ve
üstün başarı göstermektedir.
Federasyonumuzda çeşitli ku-
rullarda görev yapan Serhat
Enyüce’ye Uluslararası Buz
Hokeyi Federasyonu’nun (IIHF)
organizasyon kurulunda görev
verilmiştir. Son iki yılda ülkemi-
zin tanıtımının yeterince yapıl-
ması ve alınan organizasyon-
larda göstermiş olduğumuz ba-
şarılar nedeniyle yeni ve büyük
şampiyonların ülkemize alın-
ması sağlanmıştır.”

activities and develop-
ments in this respect?
“We have received over 500
thousand Liras from sponsor-
ships in the last two years. This
is a great achievement, if you
consider that there were no
sponsorship revenues at all in
the previous years.”
Anything you would like
to add?
“There has been a 70 % in-
crease in the number of play-
ers and serious escalations
in the numbers of referees
and coaches over the last two
years. Besides, more Turkish
referees are being appoint-
ed to international organiza-
tions. Additionally, a woman
player from our National Team
has been transferred to Czech
Republic where she displays
a successful performance.
Serhat Enyüce, who serves
in different councils of our
Federation, has been appoint-
ed to the Competition & Inline
Committee of the International
Ice Hockey Federation. Thanks
to the promotional activities
of Turkey and the success-
ful organizations realized in
our country, we won the right
to host new and important
championships.”
and attained the target-
ed development?
“We were separated
from the other ice sports in
2006 and as a 20 years-old
Federation we focused our
attention on our sport sole-
ly. Despite the insufficiency of
the venue infrastructure, the
struggle and successes main-
tained by the ice hockey clubs
from the provinces where
new facilities were opened at
the Leagues, indicate the in-
creased interest in the sport
and the attainment of target-
ed development.”
Ice hockey is regard-
ed as a sport that is at
an early stage of devel-
opment in Turkey. As the
Ice Hockey Federation
how do you assess, in the
name of raising new ath-
letes, the level of the fa-
cilities infrastructure
“We are working in collabo-
ration with the clubs and other
institutions we support in order
to develop the infrastructure
for the promotion and wide-
spreading of ice hockey. Due to
the insufficiency of the facili-
ties, today we are active only in
five provinces. The Federation
is in the process of project de-
velopment to enable the con-
struction of ice sports facilities
in 10 other provinces.”
